A film on Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman's life – a Bangladesh-India joint endeavor celebrating his 100th birth commemoration, is really taking shape. The going for this eagerly awaited film was planned to begin in March this year, because of the progressing COVID-19 pandemic the shoot is currently booked to begin in January one year from now.
The initial segment of the film is set to be shot in Mumbai, India. Nuzhat Yasmin, Managing Director of BFDC affirmed the news to The Daily Star. "The chief has finished the shooting date as of late and it is set to begin in January," shares Nuzhat.
Arifin Shuvoo will assume the part of Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman. Nusrat Imrose Tisha will depict the function of Sheik Fazilatunnesa while Nusraat Faria will assume the part of Sheik Hasina and Tauquir Ahmed in the function of Sohrawardy, among others.
"My shoot will begin from January 20 in Mumbai and I am getting ready for the shoot likewise," shares Dilara Zaman. The Ekushey Padak winning entertainer will depict the function of Bangabandhu's mom.
"I will play Bangabandhu's dad in the film and I am amped up for my job," shares entertainer Khairul Alam Sabuj. "In light of the renowned picture of Bangabandhu and his dad, I gathered a comparable garment for my job."
Acclaimed chief Shyam Benegal will be coordinating the movie, the chief visited Bangladesh to choose a few areas for the shoot, sadly, because of the continuous pandemic, and the initial segment of shoot will presently begin from Mumbai, and afterward proceed in Bangladesh.
Atul Tiwari and Shama Zaidi will compose the screenplay of the film. Shyam Benegal's girl Piya Benegal is the outfit chief, while Nitish Roy is the workmanship head of the film.
