‘Bangladesh to get 89 lakh Covid antibody portions in last quarter of 2021’

An aggregate of 89 lakh dosages of Covid-19 immunization will be delivered to Bangladesh over the most recent three months of the year, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam said in a Facebook post from the get-go Wednesday.

The immunization will come from two sources – from the US as gift and from the Covax office.

"We have gotten another designation of 71 lac Pfizer (US gift) and 18 lac Moderna antibody (customary COVAX distribution) from COVAX Facility. These immunizations will be transported in the last quarter of this current year. We are confident to get more designation for a similar period. Much obliged to you USA n COVAX," composed Shahriar Alam on his own Facebook page around 1:00am on Wednesday.
