Schools should dole out staff to guarantee understudies go across streets securely: PM
State head Sheik Hasina today said instructive establishments, up to higher optional level, should allot their own staff to ensure their understudies go across streets securely.
"However traffic police will be there to help, the school specialists should be cautious and their own staff should be there so understudies can go across streets securely… I figure our Education Ministry can give an order to the schools – – from essential to higher optional levels – – in such manner," she said.
The top state leader said this while introducing four recently built tasks executed under the Road Transport and Highways Division, joining a program essentially from her Gono Bhaban.
Understudies are hesitant with regards to paying notice to deal with directions many cases. "Assuming there's somebody from the school specialists, they'll adhere to their guidelines," she said, adding that each school will step up to the plate all alone.
The head of the state, in 2018, had vowed to build the underpass, four days after Diya Khanam Mim and Abdul Karim Rajib, first-year understudies of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment School on Airport Road, were killed as a transport blasted through them before Kurmitola General Hospital in the capital on July 29.
